So I have very pale skin and can't seem to find a foundation that doesn't make me look orange. My skin is pretty red and I am looking for something to help cover this up. I am also looking for something light to medium coverage, preferably powder or liquid. Thank you!

Try the too faced born this way foundation in snow, it's a new shade and it's supposed to be basically paper white.

L'oreal True Match Super Blendable liquid foundation comes in tons of shades. I am pretty sure it is like 33 or something close to that, so you will most likely find your perfect shade.

I love L'Or?al infallible matte foundation. It comes up really pale (matches my skin and I'm like a neutral toned snow white!). I get dreadful redness and it covers it really well.

I'm in the same boat as you in terms of being really pale and red. Josie Maran vibrancy foundation in dynamic is a great match for me, its one of the lightest foundations I've come across.

I would check out the L'orèal True Match liquid foundation in the shade C1 alabaster (if you are overall got a pink tone)
Or W1 porcelain (if you're wanting to cover up the redness but also have some yellow to your neck and chest)

Fortunately being too pale is the better option when looking for makeup. many brands have a white base that you can mix into you foundation to lighten it without changing the tones. Just something to keep in mind if you continually find the lightest shade is just a bit dark. as for specific foundations that may work I agree with too faced and Loreal both having pretty pale shades and both being good at covering redness. I haven't tried kat von ds foundation myself because I tend to stay away from matte finishes but they seemed to go very pale and I've heard they have real good coverage.

Fit me for drug store or Kat Von D for high end!

Mixers are definitely your BFF. You just need to make sure you find the right one for the foundation your using or some of them can mess with the formulation bit. The MUFE Chromatic Mixes are my personal favorite for liquid but if you're using a cream foundation the RCMA adjuster palette is also great.
I have yet to find a foundation that matched me without mixing so I definitely feel your frustration.

I would go for either the L'Oreal true match or born this way by TooFaced

I have the same problem! I am so pale that the lightest shades for most brands are still too dark. Makeup forever HD foundation in y205 is a very good match. I also have just a straight up white foundation from OFRA cosmetics that I mix with other foundations. I hope this helped!

As a pale girl myself, I'd suggest you checking out lightening shade adjusters or white mixers that you can mix with too dark foundations. These can also add more pigmentation to the product you are using which can help with the redness. And if it's not enough color correction for you, you can try color correcting products for the red areas of your skin. But if your skin is "all around" red, you can try a CC-cream (the it cosmetics one is very popular). If you're only looking for a foundation and are not interested in shade adjusters or mixers, you can try to look for scandinavian or asian foundation brands, they usually have a better variety of light shades.
And in my opinion, even though loreal true match and maybelline fit me are texture and shade variety wisely quite nice foundations I wasn't able to find a properly toned (in loreal true match) or light enough foundation (fit me) for my skin.
