So my boyfriend and I are long distance, instead of flying he's coming to get me (in New Orleans) and we're driving back to Jacksonville. That's an 8hr drive! He also just told me I'll be meeting some more of his family when we get there, no time to stop at the house and freshen up. I need help on what to wear and any beauty tips.

Wear what you feel comfortable in - and don't try so hard just be yourself - if you try to put on a show for his parents they are going to see right through it - I doubt they will care about what you are wearing clothes or makeup wise but I guess just keep it simple and don't wear anything too revealing if you want to make a good first impression - think of it as a casual job interview - simple and minimal makeup would be best and you can bring some things in a small makeup bag to touch up before you get there that has some powder, blush and lipstick/balm to just liven up your face after being in the car for so long - but really I wouldn't worry so much about it just be yourself

I'm kinda used to long road trips (10-12 hours) and what I always do is to mot apply any makeup until I'm arriving to the destination.
1. Use facial wipes. It's very likely that you are going to be a little bit sweaty after AC and will feel refreshing.
2. Apply a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. This will hydrate the skin and even skin tone.
3. I suggest using cream blush because it's easy to travel with and there's no need of a brush for application.
3. Grab your favorite mascara (always make eyes pop and look awake).
4. Tinted lip balm of creamy lipstick. Look for a shade that has some color but nothing too "extravagant".
For hair I love to do a french braid since it looks polished.
For clothing nothing like a good, comfy pair of jeans and a not so tight blouse (you are going to be sitted for many hours). The other option is a sundress, just bear in mind the length.
Last tip! prior arriving, use so spray deodorant and perfume :)
