Can't wait to read your thought's about it Marleen. Kevyn Aucoin has beautiful product's so I'm sure that combo will be great. I have one of his bronzes and it's very nice and 2 of his highlighters. He also has great shadows and brow powders.
Let us know about Pat McGrath product's as well I'm curious if it's any different from just purchasing a skin Balm paired with a highlighter. :)

Alma, I'm sure the bronzer will be awesome, it has to! I only have 1 other Aucoin product, the contour powder in the old burgundy packaging. I've had it for 3 years or so. It's lasts a very long time. the Mc Grath highlighter is right up my alley. I already have 3 Beccas in the. cream version, a Josie Maran balm highlighter & a Doris Dalton Balm highlighter. So this will a nice addition to my collection.

I was not interested in the pat McGrath what so ever but I saw desi Perkins on snapchat wearing it and it completely changed my mind. I will love to know your thoughts on it. I own the Kevyn aucoin vol 2 contour book and I absolutely love every product in it so I'm sure the bronzer will be amazing.

Ah the old school Kevyn sculpting powder case that's awesome Marleen.Jackie has that one as well. I have the updated case version and the book volume 1. :)

I saw the,McGrath balm swatched and in one video, you can see it has a gorgeous sheen to it..a hint of color. I wish they sold it separately. Hope you enjoy, Marleen.

I wish they would leave out the brush & lower the price. I think anyone who would buy a high end highlighter like Pat McGrath, more than likely has a decent amount of quality brushes...just sayin.

Got it today! First Impression: Pat McGrath, love the balm, especially because I have dry skin. The cream highlighter has a sheer refined texture and is a pale gold. Josie Maran Highlighter Stick is peachier, Benefits Watts Up is pinker and Gilded Honey is slightly warmer. Mallys is lighter & more intense. The powder appears white in the pan with a gold shift, but when swatched, is a pale gold with an indescribable rose or peach shift. It is very faint, but adds a unique finish. I tried it all on and the balm did break down my foundation, so I'm going to have to experiment with the application but it did give that dewey, runway model look. Honestly, I didn't feel it was all that intense which I don't mind. I'm not one of those girls who likes my highlighter to be seen from space (not that there's anything wrong with that). Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Now, the Aucoin Bronzer is another story. I love it! Finally a bronzer, blush combination that gives my skin that beachy sunkissed, slightly sunburned look. The bronzer is a medium warm shade but not orangy. Its more of a red undertone and has satin finish similar to Laguna. The coral blush is a bright apricot color with a clear base, so no powdery look, if you build it up, but you really don't have to. It has a hint of pink, so it doesn't read too orange on the skin and compliments the bronzer to perfection. I actually didn't wear the highlighter, because I didn't think I needed it. But when swatched, gives a semi-matte finish. Highlighter fanatics are not going to be crazy about this one. It has a similar finish to Laura Geller's French Vanilla but not as light as French Vanilla. I love this so much, all my other bronzer & blushes are going in to the makeup drawer.
