I see some girls do make up good but can't blend the face with neck. So I was just hoping someone was a good mua or had enough experience on how to blend neck with face without make up getting all over clothes.. I'm so confused I've seen people put make up on their neck but it comes off on clothes. It's like do you Ben nye the neck too lol.

I usually set my neck with powder - and I've never had that problem of makeup coming off on my clothes... But I'm not a professional or anything and I stick to high end foundations cause I find drugstore stuff just breaks me out all the time - I also don't use a ton of product either - I only use like a pea sized amount of foundation for my whole face but I also use more full coverage foundations and blend everything out with my fingers until there is no more product coming up on them - then set with powder and setting spray and it usually lasts all day and doesn't ever transfer on to anything.

You shouldn't need to bring the foundation far enough down the neck that it touches your shirt. your foundation should match your neck/chest and blending into the neck just means bringing the foundation down past the bottom of the jaw so that there is no interruption in the texture of your face with the makeup on. if the collar of the shirt does come high enough to touch your lower jaw though (like a scarf or turtleneck) or if you have issues with transfer in general try applying thinner layers of makeup and setting it with powder and maybe a setting spray. some foundations just transfer on some people no matter what and you may have to try a new one of all else fails.

Since I have melasma, I use a foundation shade that's inbet.

Inbetween my actual skin tone & my melasma shade. So I end up having to darken up my neck & upper chest. I just use the Wet & Wild Contour Powder kit (since I don't like it for the face).

I usually have this issue. My neck is about a shade darker or two but my face is lighter than my chest, arms and shoulders.
I pretty much get a color the rest of my body (chest, shoulders, arms)
Then, for my neck I just use a color that's a little more orange based and around the same color as my chest if not a tad darker.
The slight orange tone will prevent your neck from looking ashy.
I just use a light dusting under my jaw down to the middle of my neck.
As it gets to the collarbone it tends to be lighter/matched my chest.
There are brightening products that you can purchase to help brighten up the neck which I've been using and it's definitely been helping.
