I'll be doing a look with this palette on Thursday so I'll do swatches then, I want to keep the palette as perfect as possible before I use it, lol.

That palette looks so gorgeous! I'd drown my eyes in all of those shades :D I can't wait to see your future MOTD's with this palette!

Thank you, ladies! I'm trying to plan out a look and I'm having such a hard time deciding what colors to use!

For a darker look, I would put Vanity on the lid, Black Rainbow on the outer v, and add Rich Bitch to the center of the lid to really make it pop (and then of course add a highlight shade under the brow bone, liner and lashes). This is just me though, I hope I helped with inspiration!

Or instead of using the gold shade, you could always take Courtney and place that in the crease to add some more dimension to the look :)

Kristen, my tracking information said it was going to be delivered yesterday and I was like "you liar, it's a holiday" and I was really mad, lol. So glad I finally have it and in so excited to play with it! (:

I'm really jealous! I would order it but shipping is nuts and honestly I have so many similar palettes so I'll get the next one!
Kristen what is that iridescent teal shade? The palette is a bit "meh" to me but that shade looks beautiful! I've heard that one skin finish has been breaking super easily and they're replacing them quickly

Kristen, oh no! Someone else here had a broken highlighter as well, hope customer service is fast and friendly!
Alyx, I'm just a sucker for palettes so I had to get it, lol.
I think I'm going to order the Skin Frost bundle when Beautylish restocks it. I don't know how often I'd use Mint Condition (the teal shade) but it'd make a pretty eyeshadow too! I hope they start extra wrapping that one that keeps breaking, it looks like the King Tut shade.

The teal shade is the 'Mint Condition' skin frost. It is a lot more icy and light when swatched tho.

Sorry for the double post. Just saw your reply, Alexis.
It is the King Tut shade that is broken. They already responded to my email letting me know that they would take care of it so that's great at least. The thing that did bother me a bit was they were all packaged extremely well but inside the tissue paper that 'King Tut' was wrapped in there was gold fingerprints everywhere. lol So whoever packed it knew it was broken and just kept wrapping it anyway. 🙄

I'm more curious to see and hear all of the BL Fam reviews since these are such hyped product's it would be great to get a clearer view all around with truth. Can't wait to see the reviews ladies & gents, it should be fun. Looking forward to see what you come up with Alexis and Kristen can't wait to see a review. :)
Oh no Kristen hopefully they will replace it. I've seen a few crushed like that on IG and it's unfortunate. I did watch a video of a person who had it happen to him as well and unfortunately because of the video there was a bit of backlash sadly.
I want to know if it compares to any other Indie line and pressed pigment. :)

Kristen, then I hope they look into seeing when/where in the packing process they're breaking at.
Alma, I'll make sure to include as much information and pictures as possible when I post on Thursday! I hope it's as amazing as its been hyped up to be, I really don't want to be disappointed, lol.

That's a very pretty palette and the hype is big out there! I'm with Alma, I can't wait to see some BL member review. For some reason, I consider all of you much more real then youtube reviews!

Alexis C.
Genevieve, I'm the same way with reviews on here vs YouTube. While I do have a handful of YouTubers that I trust their opinions I still ask here on BL. I think it's easier for us to be honest about how we like a product because we're paying for it ourselves and not getting it for free from PR, lol.

That looks prettier than how it does online and/or YouTube. I find everything to be so contrasted and not in natural light! I too wonder how the formula of these are like!

Alexis I know and the fact that we can discuss it (not just a one way opinion) makes it even better.

Livi I hate that. When they only show it in their bright lighting that has been adjusted and tampered with to make them look best. There's so many palettes that I see on YouTube where I'm like "oh my god that's the most beautiful color I've ever seen " and then I see another picture or in person and it's much darker and less glitter or chunkier or whatever. It's especially disappointing with products you can only get online like this. Luckily I saw some other youtubers post pictures on IG and stuff right after he posted the video so I knew it was much prettier than in the video, but even then if I were expecting the more muted less shimmery and more warm toned shadows I would be disappointed with it. I believe it was the shade princess that looked very warm toned on camera and came out super cool toned in photos lol.
But I'm definitely excited to see reviews on how the formula is. I do plan on getting at least one JS palette eventually, this one just wasn't my thing.
It's funny how we consider the people on here like friends, or at least I do. Even the ones I have never seen before I believe them over youtubers reviews lol.

Livi, I agree, natural light is best unless you can play with your settings/lighting properly enough to make the colors appear true to life. Few YouTubers know how to do that.
Genevieve, the perks of a beauty forum, lol.
Alyx, Jeffree's already said that another palette will be coming out in fall so maybe that one will be more your thing (:
