The Clarisonic is the best investment I've ever made for my skin, it's so much more normal now rather than oily. It gives the skin such a deep clean and I think it helps keep breakouts from happening. I highly suggest it! I have the Mia 1, which only has 1 speed and it works perfectly; I don't see any reason for any of the other speeds that the other models have.

It's the best thing I've bought too and I got a Mia 2 on sale for 75 dollars. It uses sonic waves to penetrate the products deeper into the skin. Basically it makes the products you use penetrate deeper into the skin which is goid especially if you are buying expensive skin care products. my skin was oily with acne and now it's so much better. It's the only thing that's worked for me.

Clarisonics are amazing, I have the Mia 2. They sell many different varieties- different devices have different functions and different brush heads target all different skin types. They exfoliate and release dirt and oil from your pores, and they do a great job getting all of the makeup residue off of my face. They're expensive but they're well worth the investment, they are amazing! :)

Thank you so much girls!:) glad to hear the good reviews and may I ask also the Mia two has two speeds, so what does the second speed do? Does it give a more deep cleAnse than the first speed? And when using the clarisonic would you use the first speed first and the second speed after? Or do you just use kne of the speeds?

I agree, the Clarisonic changed my skin! I was really sick for a long period of time and I started getting horrible acne from stress and nothing helped it (even went to the dermatologist several times and it didn't help) until I got my Clarisonic (Mia 1) and that was about 4 years ago. I bought the Mia 2 last year because I was traveling a lot and did not want to forget it, so I would always have one in my travel bag.
Anyways, I have dry skin. The Clarisonic isn't going to get rid of dryness; you need a moisturizer for that issue. I rarely breakout now and spots minimized tremendously.
Things to remember, make sure you get the right brush head for your skin type (if not this can cause some irritation) since you mentioned dryness, I recommend the delicate (thats what I use; the sensitive was too much even for me). I only use mine at night every single night (in the four years I've had it I have skipped it once or twice and my skin paid for it! So now I never skip because I noticed a huge difference) ; occasionally I will use it in the am, if I'm having blemishes, but most of the time I just it only at night. In the mornings I just use a gentle cleanser in the shower without the Clarisonic.
As far as how to use it, do not press hard! It does all the work for you, so no need to press into your skin, otherwise you'll just irritate your skin. Next, use it daily. If you aren't using it everyday then you aren't going to use it everyday. Some people complain and say its too much; if its "too much" then you are using it wrong. Either wrong brush head or pressing too hard. As far as comparing the Mia 1 vs the Mia 2; go with the 1. The only difference is the 2 has the different brush speed; which I never use because I don't find it necessary. So go with the 1 if you wanna save a little money; they are honestly the same.
Now last thing, sorry for the long post lol; but I just use whatever cleanser (I don't like the Clarisonic brand cleanser). I use Philosophy Clear Days Ahead, and in the mornings I use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. For moisturizer, I recommend CeraVe Mosturizing Lotion. If I'm extra dry, then I use the Moisturizing Cream or if I'm really bad, then I use the Night Renewing Cream. CeraVe is great for dryness and can be bought at the drugstore. Hope this helped!

@Susana, the Mia 2 has 2 brush speeds, one giving a more delicate cleanse and one for exfoliation. You can use either one, or as you mentioned, both! Anything works! A few times a week I use the deep-exfoliation side, but if my skin is irritated I use the slower speed for a gentler cleanse. Also, the pressure and exfoliation absolutely depends on the brush head you choose. For example, I used one of the Silk brush heads before (forget the exact name... made for super sensitive skin) and that just very gently cleaned my skin. I switched to the sensitive brush head and it's much more exfoliating. Hope this helps! :)

I love my Clarisonic! I got mine at my dermatologists office about a year ago, and I've seen a real improvement in the texture of my skin and my pores appear less visible.
It definitely gently exfoliates, so if you have dry skin that flakes it's great for that, but if I'm peeling pretty bad then I tend to want to use a separate exfoliating treatment on top of that because I don't find manual exfoliation to be enough. I've been looking into some chemical exfoliants, but I haven't found one I love yet.
As for spots, I find that my Clarisonic helps prevent those patches of stubborn small acne bumps that cause skin to look dull and broken out. However, I do get hormonal acne, which I don't find my Clarisonic helps with (I wouldn't expect it to though).
I would definitely recommend it! I have the Mia 2, and I use it nightly on the lowest setting unless I'm experiencing a lot of breakouts, at which point I use the higher setting. :)

I've been using the Mia 2 for 3 months now and it's done so much for my skin. My pores are visually smaller than they have ever been. I use it once a day everyday on the lowest setting. I don't use it twice a day because I find using it twice a day over exfoliates my skin and irritates it.
