Hard candy has some bomb ass primers for oily skin!! Trust me I've tried high end & stay away from silicon based primers cause that'll cause your foundation to slip and slide

Goodnight Kelsi,
I completely understand your struggle with your very oily skin as I have so as well and live in the Caribbean. Drugstore nor high end products worked for me. My cousin who is a talented freelance MUA suggested I try Nivea Mens Sensitive Post Shave Balm as a primer. I understand there was a hype behind it due to a youtube MUA so I watched reviews, bought it, gave it a try and didn't look back. I love it. Besides the smell ( which I don't mind but some folks do) I apply it after my regular skin care routine I prime my face let it set in and apply my makeup. My makeup does not budge and I don't look like a oil slick at the end of the day. I have very sensitive skin and it does not irritate me at all.
Also for your large pores I can suggest using Noxzema. My ex had very large pores and I coaxed him into a skin routine with it and his pores shrank significantly.
I hope you find what works for you :)
Have a good night.

The nivea post shave balm works because it's glycerin content. It works, but it's not to use it everyday. Read previous post about it, someone got really bad reaction to it.

I don't know any drugstore ones..but if you can wait and save up money and splurge I would recommend Becca ever matte pore perfecting primer..it costs $40 after tax..but its sooo worth it...I have small pores on my tzone and cheeks and have oily skin and I live in a super humid and hot climate...of all the primers only this has seemed to work on me...

I know this is slightly the "upper end drugstore" but the N07 beautifully bare primer is good and also it's said to be a dupe for the benefit porefecional X

I've been using the wet n wild cover all primer this past months and I love it! I've tried the Rimmel stay matte one and fix and perfect but I don't know they didn't do much for me. I've always had dry skin but now my skin gets really oily on my t-zone which never happened before. It's something new to me, because I've never had this problem but in learning to adjust and this primer is my favorite to keep my skin less oily, with the help of setting powder and setting spray.

I'm going to have to agree with Aurora, I love the Loreal Magic Perfecting Base. It blurs and fills everything in my opinion. I need to restock on this as we speak lol.

I agree with Rida. I've used tons of drugstore primers, but none of them really worked. The Becca Ever Matte primer is expensive, but it's amazing. It's the only primer I use now, if I decide to use one at all.
