Hey ladies, so I always pluck my own eyebrows and occasionally my aunt-Who is a beautician- waxes them, not often. Anyways, when I pluck under my arch on my right eyebrow, the same couple of areas bleed a bit. Not much, just a prick, and it doesn't hurt bit is it anything to be worried about? Thanks girls!

Or try plucking after you shower hot water opens pores less damage when you pull them out

hot towel to open your pores and a great vanity mirror. If you use a little mirror with a hot face it'll fog etc. etc. and defeat the entire purpose. It's a total mission but worth it.

And does anyone know about ice? Like if it dulls the pain?
Jan 5, 2013
Hannah P.
No. Of course ice will numb it for a while but it will tighten the pore making it more painful/harder to pluck.

make sure u pull the skin tight and pull hairs in the same direction as hair growth :)

You bleed because you ruined the hair follicle that the specific hair rested in. It's a good thing in disguise because if you ruined the hair follicle, it won't grow back.

I agree, after the shower will soften the hair follicles and up make them easier to remove if you're still having a little trouble you can gently moisturize the area and that should help
