So I want to dye my hair a color where it won't look bad when my roots come in(: any color ideas? Here's my natural hair color with no filter in natural light(: & I have dyed my ends before 2 years ago but I chopped it off.

My natural hair is about your color and I'm currently in the same situation as you! Fair skin & trying to find something that looks good when your roots start to come in. I think something like this orrrrrr.

The top left or any of these really. I just like the top two and bottom right because its more of one color; instead of highlight like the others that require a lot of upkeep.

If anything is forgiving on regrowth it's an ombre or balayage highlights. I would go for a cool toned and maybe some layers to let the natural texture of your hair come out :)

I know you don't want it to look awkward when your roots come in, but I think a chocolate brown would look great on you! Unless you have really fast growing hair you could probably get one to three months before you would have to touch it up again. Just some thoughts. If you are concerned about the roots though, I would go with a lighter ash blonde. Good luck!
