Hi. I'm having some trouble trying to tame my frizzy mane. A few months ago I chopped my hair off to collarbone length and vowed to take better care of it after destroying it with too much heat. I even bought shampoos and conditioners to help my mane of hair along with an anti frizz serum and coconut oil. I apply all of it in my hair and allow my hair to air dry. Yet it thickens and frizzes up and even more so in the back where its difficult to straighten. I even tried washing my hair every few days because, it takes about four days for my hair to calm down, become oily, and straight but then it's shortlived because I need to wash it. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or should change?

Try Using Air Control Holding Spray By Aveda. It's Great For Taming Your Hair Without Weighing It Down & Allowing Your Hair To Still Have Movement!

I've tried a sample of the drybar sake bomb conditioner and it was sooo good. I have the worst hair ever, it's always frizzy and unruly. I've tried so many hair products that it doesn't seem to work at all. But after trying the drybar conditioner sample I'm actually amazed at how affective it is.

Here are a few things that helped me kill frizz. first less heat tools and if you are using one use a good thermal protectant. second yogurt and honey DIY mask. trust me it is a LIFE SAVER for frizzy hair. just mix in equal parts honey and yogurt and a tsp or so of any hair oil. apply it for half hour wash and go! for shampoos I recommend Loreal Pure Sleek shampoo and/or Mark Hill Miracoilicious Shampoo. conditioner Aussie 3 minute miracle deeeep conditioner and Keune Balm Conditioner. these helped me a lot and I am someone who has tried a tonne of tricks and products on my hair. do let me know if these work for you!

Thanks Rida. I'll try the honey and yogurt. I don't find putting stuff like that in my hair. I have tried one with mayonnaise and olive oil and it made my hair heavy, dark and extremely shiny. Which was good but I was told they could really spell the stuff and it was difficult to style.

Yeah yoghurt would stink a little but nothing the shampoo can't get rid off...plus the result is so awesome its worth the stink for half an hour...trust me I have battled frizz all my life and these are the only things that have helped...and so much so that my hair are so straight now I am running after curling rods now lol.
