I remember reading an article that said that you have to put the sunblock/sunscreen first and then your moisturizer, because if you put moisturizer on first (and then the sunblock/sunscreen) it will cancel out the effects of the sunblock.
I don't know if it is true or 'scientifically' accurate but that's what I've always done anyway.

Irine! That's what I heard too... So what I am doing now is I apply sunblock first.. Wait for it to absorb a bit, apply moisturizer (wait) and then finish off with sunblock again... 😂

You put moisturizer first.
Moisturizer is absorbed by the skin whereas if you're using a physical sunscreen it would have to go after moisturizer since it stays on top(isn't absorbed) of the skin to reflect the Suns rays.
If you were to put the sunscreen first it wouldn't allow the moisturizer to moisturize your skin since the sunscreen would block the moisturizer from being thoroughly absorbed plus I've read the sunscreen can also help prevent antioxidants from being effected by the Suns rays as well.
Chemical sunscreens work by being absorbed by the skin but I think the rule is still the same when it comes to moisturizer then putting sunscreen.
Most sunscreens are a mix of chemical and physical sunscreens lately so you really want to put the sunscreen last.
