I highly suggest going to a professional and getting it done. Bring a picture of the color/shade you want and do research on local salons and stylist so you can make an informed decision on who to go to so you can get what your looking for with minimal damage (:

There are a lot of high lift hair colors, and you might not need to bleach your hair, but I agree with Alexis about getting it done with a professional.

If you are looking for a ashy blonde, you will definitely need to use lightner to get the look you want. A high lift color will not get you where you want, ( there will be so much warmth in it, doesn't go well with cooler tones) and even a high lift color can damage your hair since it's the high level peroxide that does the lifting and the damaging. Definitely do your research about professionals in your area like Alexis suggested :)

That looks more beige blonde to me but just do some protein treatments and moisturizing treatments before you go and get your hair bleached. Try to... Prep your hair in a way.
Protein is generally lost due to bleaching so trying to have a little extra by using treatments can help lower the amount of damage.
Bleaching also dries the hair out.

I recommend the Aphogee 2-step treatment which involves a protein based treatment and then a ph balancing/moisturizing one.

I personally had my hair bleached by myself and help from my friend who I went to cosmetology with and I took it slow. Bleached it once and stayed a medium/light brown color for a couple of weeks. Used a bunch of treatments and then bleached again.
I personally didn't want to go from black to blonde in one sit-down like they do in most salons cause my other friend did that and ended up hating her hair and cut it quite a bit.
I personally didn't need to cut my hair.
We also used a 20 developer and just took our time with it. It took longer but from what I've noticed your hair feels better when you bleach it gradually.
Some people believe a 20 developer won't lift really dark hair but it does, it just takes longer and can't dry out or it'll stop bleaching.
I just think that's something to consider.

Definitely agree with Hailey on the Olaplex.. it's a life saver. I went deep burgundy last March then a month later went DARK brown & have been slowly going back blonde since September (my hair is now honey blonde with platinum highlights, healthy condition with no breakage). It's a lot less damaging as a slow process & when working with bleach I would definitely see a professional. I hope the blonde turns out great for you! It would look gorgeous (:
