I am getting some new makeup, but I needed some input..

cerave or cetaphil moisturizer?
gel or felt tip eyeliner?
too faced better than sex, they're real, or roller lash?
are both the shade and light palette and the hoola bronzer necessary?
is the too faced born this way foundation worth it?

thank you for the input and feel free to leave other suggestions. my makeup it really old and I've been using the same makeup since 5th grade and I'm now a freshman in high school (gross, right?) and I want to start fresh with some new makeup

I haven't tried most of those products, but I prefer the Cerave moisturizer, and I like felt tip liner because I find it faster to work with. :)

Okay, thank you Kayla (: I have tried both moisturizers in the past, but it's been a while and my skin has changed. I used to have super dry skin and now my skin is combination so I wanted to get some more input. I have used a felt tip in the past, but it was a cheap one and it dried up fast so I don't necessarily count that. I have worked with gel and I absolutely love it, but I didn't know if felt tip would be easier. Sorry for the long life story lol. I get carried away sometimes!

Cetaphil worked great for me when I was dealing with more combo skin (super dry these days 😕)

Okay (: I know I used to love cetaphil! It was very nice that it came in the huge bottle! I might end up getting that again, but lots of people say the cerave is nice too and I honestly remember enjoying them both!!

Since you are replacing make-up, and as a freshman, I assume you are on a student budget. Ulta has many goodies buy 1 get 1 50% off. Worth a peek at their website if you don't have a store near you.
As for your questions,
CeraVe AM moisturizer. It has broad spectrum coverage and contains ceramides and Niacinamide, which help repair and calm skin. There's a $2 coupon on CeraVe's website.

Felt liners are great and I love Stila All Day and Kat Von D, but a less expensive option is Milani Eye Tech Extreme. You can try seeing how you like pen liners before spending more cash. NYX eye markers are also nice. As for gel, my favs are Inglot Gel Liner or Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips (in the glass nesting jars) You get three colors and can chose based on eye color. They are often sold out, but the Physicians Formula website has the set for $10.

Of the 3 mascaras, Rollerlash. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam is a Too Faced Better Than Sex dupe....for less cash. Still, I personally prefer Maybelline Lash Sensational over all of them! (Tarte & YSL & Lancome are favs, but pricey) You can always get the trial size of Benefit. They are on display near the register.

If you are looking for lip colors, NYX makes killer lip liners and the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Sticks are as great, if not better than Tarte's Lipsurgence. They even smell and taste the same. Revlon Colorburst lip colors in the fat pencils are ahhhhmazing and come in matte and shine.

I didn't like the Hoola when I bought it and so I gave it to a friend.
NYC Smooth Sunny Bronzer and Milani Finishing Powder in #6 Medium Tan are identical to Hoola. You could save cash snagging one of those and use the funds to purchase a brush for bronzing instead. Since bronzer isn't intended to contour, I'm assuming you will need a separate product for contouring.

I'd get samples of a few foundations, including Too Faced, if you hit up a Sephora. Just let them know your skin type.
Here's 2 links to some fantastic dupes that should help get your new make-up up and running.

Thank you so much Rozberry (: That was super helpful! I am definitely going to be using those coupons and deals!! I know bronzer isn't meant for contour, but I see a lot of youtuber's use that specific one so I wasn't for sure, but I think I'll invest in the shade and light palette since everyone seems to love it and I love the shades!
