Blotting papers are good. This sounds crazy, but get a bottle of milk of magnesia and dab it on the oily places, then let it dry and wash it off. Helps absorb oil so well.

If you're putting makeup on, make sure your primer is very matte. I wear one from an indie company, Fyrinnae. It strips that oil out in nothing flat. Also, blot your foundation before you set it with a powder. I use coconut oil as a night time moisturizer and it's helped reduce my oil production. Oil free moisturizers, foundations etc. If you have combo oily skin, go for more of a gel moisturizer.

I recommend using Corn starch as a setting powder. It sounds weird but it absorbs oil like crazy and leaves you matte all day!
