Hi - I've always suffered with mild acne in my teens (I'm now 20) and recently my skin has really cleared up, however, I still have redness from the hyper-pigmentation of were the old breakouts were.
I'm looking for the best glycolic acid products - peels, creams, etc - does anybody have any suggestions? I've never used them before so this is new to me!
Thank you :)

The Alpha Hydrox brand Souffle at 12% is inexpensive and fabulous with the perfect pH for maximum benefits. It rivals high end products for about $15. Walgreens and Drugstore.com have it. If you are new to AHA's, I'd acclimate the skin by starting every 3rd day and sunscreen is a must as skin increases in light sensitivity. If you use any C products, don't do so simultaneously as when layered, it can bring on irritation or burning. They can be used alternately, however. You'll want a moisturizer with Hyaluronic acid to counter any dryness that may occur as well as a gentle wash. Lastly, avoid mucus membranes..being careful to not apply product near tear ducts, waterline, lids, nostrils and lips.
Hope that helps.
