I have had Long hair for ages, I have them naturally curly when weather is warmer. My hair does get frizzy as thick.

If you have had long hair for a really long time, I wouldn't cut it all off at once because you might regret it and hair can take a while to grow. I would cut it boob length and then if you like having shorter hair, you can always cut it shorter. That way, you won't be devastated if you end up missing your long hair, but you can still kind of get a feel for it!

I have the same hair type as you and also had long hair forever. I cut it short bob last year and really miss my long hair but didn't regret cutting. The problem is that two hairdressers failed to cut my hair the way I wanted (asymetretic bob). Only one had succeed and she isn't available to cut it at the moment. Last time it was cut so wrong that I ended up with hair way too short and the cut was ridiculous. By chance I could barely attach it in a low pony and I kept it that way since Christmas. Now it's starting to feel slightly longer but I've been really bitter about this whole thing... I decided to have it made straight when it's longer and just let it grow again. I realized that cutting shorter hair really takes skill and it's much easier to fail and hard to hide the problem. So think well before you take a decision...
