My skin and face look so stressed because I am really stressed out and have a lot of issues. I am trying to get rid of some of the stress but I just wondered if there was any skin care or makeup tips that could help? My skin is dry, patchy, pale, and so tired looking. It looks like I haven't slept in weeks. my under eyes are dark. please help. I am using hard candy concealer and loreal foundation but nothing seems to cover up my tired looking face.

You need to rejuvinate your skin. Trying to cover dry patchy skin with makeup won't help. Whatever is stressing you out try to have a break from it. Drink some tea if you'd like, try some rejuvinating facials and use strictly cold water on your face. Drink a lot of water. Get some good sleep. Try to minimize how much makeup you put on while your skin heals.

Well there's a lot going on in my life. I stutter, I'm trying to find a job, trying to get a mortgage on a house and I have a 3 year old. I just finished college. thanks for the tips! I have been trying the tea.

Yeah I hear ya. I'm trying to move out of my parents place, hubz lives with me, government help wasn't really helping, he finally found another job that pays well, we have so much debt to pay off before we can actually move out of this cramped place, and we are expecting a third child when we already have a one and two year old running around all because my birth control failed on me. But I try to stay on the positive side of things :) make sure you set aside some you time and that should help too.

Other than Sarah's very helpful advice - which should definitely come first - I must say that I really like First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Overnight Mask, it's like a skin drink!
It's very gentle too, perhaps try it out and see if you like it... You could ask for a sample at Sephora! ;)
I like to use it when my skin gets patchy and dry from traveling by airplane. :)
Good luck to you!! xx

I find that getting a glowy look really helps with looking more awake. This is what I do whenever I look quite tired: first of all make sure to have a nicely moisturized skin as a base. If you have dry skin, clinique moisture surge intense is great. then some concealer with good coverage under your eyes (maybe also consider a colour corrector if concealer doesn't seem enough), a bb cream that gives a dewy finish, leghtening mascara to open up the eyes, some highlighter on the cheekbones and a light glowy lip tint.
I do agree with the girls though how important it is to relief yourself from stress, I had bad skin issues from stress that would only go away when the stress was gone, but I hope for the short term a nice makeup routine can make you a bit happier and that might help too. :) best of luck with everything!
