I'm in love with my L'Oreal true match Lumi cushion foundation, but it's going down really quickly.
Have you tried both the cushion and the regular True match Lumi foundation? are they the same formulation?
and I'm in the shade N2 classic ivory in the cushion, I can't seem to find a N2 shade, it's always a N1-2 or N3, is the N1-2 shade really lighter?
I hot I could use this foundation because the cushion formulation is perfect!

I was wondering the same thing. I asked a friend who has both and she said the cushion one left a slightly tacky feeling. Although I love my friend, I can't always trust her reviews because she has a different skin type and has different preferences. I just bought another Lumi bottle only because when I was in the store, the sign described the cushion as sheer to medium coverage. And the regular Lumi, was described as MEDIUM coverage. I need more coverage and don't want to have to build a sheer coverage to a medium. Takes time, uses up more product faster and just feels heavier to me.

I have both and I love it. The only thing that's a bit difference is the shade. With liquid lumi I can mix shades for my perf color. But with cushion it takes time to mix. I have to put mac mineralize powder a tad darker than cushion for my skintone. For traveling purposes, I like the cushion cos it's handy. Unlike the bottle, I'm always afraid it might break. Just my opinion.

Thanks for your input! and does the formulation of both foundations are the same?

I feel like the formulation of the cushion foundation is thinner, which makes sense since it has to sink into the pores of the cushion. However, it's been a long time since I tried the original lumi, so it could just be my memory is a bit off.

My sister used the lumi cushion and it leaves almost a flawless finish , her skin is combination a little more on the dry side. in my opinion the foundation works best for people with dry skin?

That's my point exactly! That's why I want to try the original True Match Lumi foundation, but I wanted some review first to see if they were similar.

Did anyone ever answer this? I was planning on buying the cushion and refilling it with the lumi liquid. Has anyone attempted this feat since February?

I bought an empty cushion and I have a Lumi at home I never use so I'm going to try putting it in the cushion and see what happens. I may have to cocktail up one of my serum foundations with it to adjust for color and consistency. We shall see what happens. Wish me luck!
