Like on any other piercing thread, you gotta think about jobs. Alot of them dont like facial piercings, Ive had 2 jobs where they didnt allow it and have fired people for it. I wouldnt want you to waste money just to have to take it out all the time for work. Just my opinion, not trying to be mean at all. :)

well how old are you? because depending on that and if and when you plan on getting a job the piercing may heal by then so when you go to work you can take it out.

Lol okay then if you had it all planned out why bother to ask our opinions? Good luck at your job, finding a job, it certainly wont be anywhere too professional.

um thats not necessarily true! if by the time she gets a job it could be healed so all she would have to do is take it out for work. I have many in highschool that have snake bites, spider bites, angel bites, and dimple piercings and 2 of them have a job all they do is take it out for work.

What type were you thinking of getting?

Labret on my right side if my lip because if I had it on the same side as my nose ring I think it would look weird

Yeah do it. I know people with plenty more piercings than I have that have no problem getting jobs.

I think that later in life you will regret it. Stick with what you have. A nose piercing isn't as big of a deal as a lip piercing. When you are older you won't like it anymore and it will leave a horrible scar

Don't listen to those people. I've seen doctors, nurses, and other people with facial piercings and tattoos and stretched ears. More companies and such are being more open with body mods. I think it'll look good on you:)

What hospital are you going to where doctors have facial piercings and stretched ears?? You sure you werent at a free clinic??

ok so I have 33 piercings including 4 lip rings, 2 eyebrows and 2 tongue rings and I'm a receptionist! all I do is take them out. once it heals you'll be fine. don't worry about our opinions! and "professional" doesn't have just one definition. it doesn't mean business suits and pearls all the time. it means appropriate for that profession. if you work at a tattoo shop (they are professionals too BTW) that's completely professional to them. soooo don't worry about all of that honey. if it makes you feel beautiful, go for it. that's what I tell all of my piercing clients.

at Allison W. that was very ignorant of you to say. It's close minded people like you who make me sick. but then again, my piercings must have made me stupid (despite my Bachelor's degree in molecular biology) and I just can't comprehend what you're saying. You know the difference between people like me and people like you? People like me don't care about what body mods you don't have. I'm sorry to be all on your feed but that pissed me off.

I've went through my stages of piercing. My opinion, do it. It's only a piercing, if you grow out of the phase take it out. No biggie.
