I need help:( recently I have been getting break out after breakout all around my chin and jawline area, which is how I know it's hormonal. The rest of my face is perfectly clear except around my chin. The breakouts are cystic and the hurt and ache badly:( I don't know how to treat hormonal acne though. Isn't it just my hormones? How do I fix that?? And I'm not like..at that certain time of the month or anything. Does anyone know what's going on? Thank you😥

Also I have been treating it daily with my acne medication toner which makes the pimple go away, but then the next day there is a new pimple there.

Because it's hormonal you can't stop it. But you could use topical treatments to help reduce the redness and acne, I just used unflavoured yoghurt twice a day everyday for 20mins then I'd just wash my face with water and pat it dry. It actually was really good, my face got very very clear.

If the acne is hurting I think you will need anti-biotics for that...go to a dermatologist please..don't risk using random stuff especially if you don't know the exact cause or if it's persistent.

I agree with Rida. I would just ice it until you can get real medical advice and just continue your regular skin routine.

I know how you feel! When breakouts are like this I suggest research what you need to do to clear those breakouts in the place where they are. Second, if you are drinking soda, stay away from it for a while. And third, try to find a certain skin care routine that will almost or always make those breakouts go away

As it's hormonal, you might want to consider getting on birth control. I don't know if that's a worldwide thing, but in germany you can get a pill especially targeted at reducing hormonal acne. I'm sure any gynecologist will be able to advise you about this. Just be aware that this kind of pill is a bit stronger than the ones who don't specifically fight acne, I know a lot of people who are fine using it but when I went to a gynecologist in the UK they were actually surprised I was given such a strong one since I haven't got acne and put me on one that is a bit less riskier. but again, I'm sure your doctor can give you the right advice about this. :)
