I'm in need of a good cleanser. I have combo skin that's dry at my forehead and around mouth and normal-oily everywhere else. I am prone to clogged pores so want something that is gentle enough for nightly use, but effective. I was looking at the Sephora Collection Radiance Cleansing Foam. Have any of you ladies tried it? Do you have any other less costly options?? Thanks!!

I highly suggest the a Origins Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash. It's made for combo skin so it won't dry out your dry areas or make any oily areas more oily. It very gentle but leaves the skin feeling so clean. It's not drugstore but I think when it comes to your skin it really is worth it to spend a little more to give your skin the best treatment (:

I use Clean and Clear's Deep Cleaning Night Wash and it's my absolute favorite, it cleans out my pores wonderfully and my breakouts don't happen as often. I have combo skin as of late and am prone to acne.

Thank you all! I should also say I don't really get breakouts, only occasionally. My issue is eye problems, so I want to make sure my skin is clean every night. If that makes sense

Hey Jackie, have you considered double cleansing?

Kitty, haven't considered much of anything. Ahahah. I've been incorporating baby shampoo into my eye wash routine about every other day. I'll wash my face with CeraVe if I remember, but don't really like it. What would you suggest??

Aww haha, well I love double cleansing!
I typically start my first cleanse by using a balm... I really enjoy using Clinique's Take the Day off cleansing balm.. still scouting for the one by The Body Shop and I've ordered one by REN.
I love balms because you can literally use them to remove a full face of make up in 2 seconds. I typically just slather them on like a lotion and massage my eyes gently and rinse it off in the shower.. They break down make up the same way an oil does but rinse off like a milk so no residue or clogged eyes.. or a slippery tub!
My second cleanse really depends on my skins condition that day... if I'm breaking out I use a cleanser with Salicylic Acid or BP like Peter Thomas Roth, if not something more gentle like the cleansing milk from Anadolu Naturals.. on days where I just wear my SPF I typically reach for my NUDE cleansing oil.

For mornings I just cleanse with my L'occitane cleansing oil (Same concept as balm cleansers... go on like an oil but rinse off like a milk so no oily feeling/residue) or I reach for my Tata Harper regenerating cleanser with has apricot powder in it so I skip out on my Foreo Luna Mini.
I've also been trying out the Yes to Coconut melting cleanser which goes on like a thick balm and warms up on the skin.. rinses off like milk but not a fan of the warming up since that means I can't use it on my eyes!

I don't really cleanse with foams.. they just over dry my skin and create oil production so I steer clear from them!

I like CeraVe's lotion, not too big of a fan of the cleanser (caused some burning on me too..) been trying out their new SA lotion which I've been enjoying as well!

Wow Kitty!! Thank you so much!! While I have been blessed with good genes, I want to prolong then as much as I can! Better late than never! Are you referring to the body shops chamomile silky cleansing oil?
That one looks interesting. I think I'm looking for one or 2 products that can be used both day and night, or one day one night.

I do want to save for a Luna Mini. But until then... Lol

The Yes to Coconuts Melting Cleanser warms up? I've been using and I haven't noticed any warming. But, I also don't use it on my eyes. Only n because I've been using ALMAY Moisterizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads for years. I usually don't cleanse afterwards. But if I feel like I need a little more cleansing, I just use my micellar water on a cotton pad. I also use an oil in the morning just to rinse off any residual nighttime skincare. I love the Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil. I love the scent. Bobbi Brown also makes a cleansing balm, but I just can't bring myself to pay the high price tag.
