Sparkly vans would be too casual in my opinion. I would definitely go with flats. I like the first one mariana posted.

Mariana first one is great.
But you can add some pop to your outfit by wearing a red. Royal blue etc. whatever your school color is or your favorite color is!
No need to be so safe!
