Concealer, brows, mascara, blush, and a lip color. I suggest the NYX HD Concealer, NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara, NYX HD Blush, and NYX lip products (:

Thank you so much! Now I'm not really much of a makeup person so do you know where I can get all this from?

I say wear as much as you want! Pack it on if you want! I wore a full face to school and got so many compliments but for starting I recommend: nyc liquid eyeliner and nyc loose setting powder and nyc sunny bronzer. For blush nyx and lip products also nyx. If you want concealer then maybelline fit me and if you want foundation then maybelline fit me as well. If you want some eyeshadow I recommend elf and brushes from elf and real techniques. This is all affordable and can be found at Walmart or target:)

I am in 9th grade right now and I like to where concealer, with a primer and powder
Elf hydrating under eye primer (3 bucks)
Maybelline fit me conceler or the age rewind, they both look really natural
And then I use the rimmel stay matte power so I don't get creasing and so it lasts longer

I like to use at least a bit of eyeliner to make my eyes pop, felt tip or liquid liner is the easiest to use but you will probably get a really bold look unless you get a lot of practice,

if you get a good pencil like the jordana made to last (2 dollars?) you can get a more natural look with pencil but it's harder to use

Then I like to use a brow gel to make my brows stay in place I like the elf double sided brow gel, it feels kinda crunchy but it will stay all day,

Then I finish off with some mascara, I like the maybelline clump crusher

I only do my eyes because that's what I like to do but you can add in lipstick, blush foundation whatever you want, a good makeup routine takes trial and error so try to practice this summer or in the evenings

Also I've noticed at my high school lots of people (including myself) like to experiment with fun or crazy makeup and I think when your young is actually a really good time to experiment with lots of stuff including makeup.

If you want any other advice about high school just ask because I'm literally you 12 months from now so Ye 😬

I think it's important to have sunscreen year round. A moisturizer with SPF could be beneficial.

As far as makeup,
It really depends on the person but overall I think two concealers, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss, lip stain or lipstick would work depending on preference.

As far as two concealers, get one that matches your skin as closely as possible to cover any occasional break out that may come out. I would suggest a cream type since they cover best.
I believe the NYX pot concealer (available at Ulta or target) would work or the MAC studio finish concealer (get at a MAC counter)
These ones you need to warm up with your finger so they blend better.

Then I'd suggest another one, a more liquid type for under the eyes, maybe a shade lighter if you want I think the Maybelline Fit me concealer would be good for that or the NYX HD concealer which is more matte.

My fave drugstore mascara has to either be the Physician Formula Lash extension kit or... The Hard Candy one.

Eyeliner; if you prefer liquid, the Milani infinite liquid liner is my fave.

If you prefer a gel type the L'orèal infallible one is great.

If you prefer pencil, I quite like the NYX slide on, glide on ones.

As far as lip product
Lipstick: Wet N Wild MegaLast lipstick

Lipgloss: I quite like the NYX butter gloss.

I haven't liked any lip stains though so it's really more of a preference thing.

I say just wear mascara and blush and you can wear a lipstick if you want to. Because that's what I do. This is my recommendation.
I get all my makeup from Sephora, but you really can get them anywhere.

If your skin is clear already, I highly recommend not wearing any foundation or powder. Experiment with neutral eyeshadows, liquid eyeliner, and mascara. :) Add a touch of lip gloss too.

I personally don't think concealed should be put on MAHBE just a nice bb cream, lip stain, blush, mascara and brows

Thanks Alexis! I'd recommend mascara, a brow pencil or powder, maybe a blusher and some lipsticks or glosses!
Mascara - Any Max Factor mascara (they're all amazing!), Rimmel London, No7 Wake Me Up mascara is lovely
Brow pencil/powder- NYX eyebrow cake, NYX eyebrow pencil
Blusher - No7 creme Blusher sticks are lovely, L'Or?al true match blushers are really lovely too. Bourjois round pot blushers are gorgeous!
Lipsticks - NYX!! I have over 20 and they're amazing!

I like that your going more natural, not that I have any problem with someone wearing lots of makeup though! I just feel like most people who are new to makeup won't apply it correctly or go a little crazy and then it will be something they look back on in a few years and be horrified! At least that's what happened with me! :) Anyways, if you have clear skin I would say go with a bb cream just for smoothness and a bit of coverage, no need for foundation and ruining beautiful skin. Along with that maybe a little concealer and a powder to set it. Next, mascara and an eyelash curler. And if you like the looks of eyeliner, I like to use a black pencil and put it on my top lash line like right in the lashes. It's kind of hard to explain, I mean so that it's not above your lashes like a liquid liner would be, just making your lashes look fuller. And then just a little on the waterline! :) I think this is a pretty good natural start and definitely wakes you up. Maybe if you want add a little neutral eyeshadow.

Hey Angelina :) I'm sure mostly everyone on Beautylish is here for the right intentions, but you should really be careful when giving out your info like that! Anyone can access beautylish forums, and it's pretty unsafe to give out your Facebook on a public post. Good luck experimenting with makeup :)

When I was that age (keep in mind this was 1999) I wore tinted lip balm and sometimes concealer. I didn't really care for makeup early on, I actually didn't know how to use eyeliner until college. Just do you, and I'm sure you'll look great!
