When someone gives me a compliment on my shoes, I often just say thank you. And make a comment about how comfy they are or if I got them for a killer deal I may say something about that.
But my question is, Do you think it's tacky to say what brand of the shoes when they say how cute my shoes are. I get a lot of compliments on my $$er ones, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, yeezy... Jimmy Choo.
Sometimes it feels like their waiting for me to keep talking about the shoes or to say more other than thank you... And
I hear other ppl say the brand right away, when they get a compliment... But is it tacky to say the brand of a shoe?

Usually when someone likes to bring up the brand of shoes or anything they are wearing it's usually a sign of having a big ego. I'm not sure that's always the case but that's atleast how the girls and women around here (where I am) are like.

If they ask where you got them or what brand, then definitely go for it, but if not then I would keep it to yourself as I do think it can get misconstrued as bragging. :)

Exactly what Jamie said, if they ask say it, if not them a nice thank you is perfect!

I agree. Keep with your "thank you, they're so comfy!" remark, and if they ask where they're from then definitely tell them!
