What I like to do is pick one piece that I love- maybe something really colorful or something I just bought- and then add other pieces to complement my focal point. It's a huge time saver... I use this all the time with scarves, for example. I'll pick out my favorite brightly colored scarf and then find simple pieces to accentuate it :) hope this helps!
