It's been a year since I got my hair short and I've grown it out since then because my hair is tooo thick and puffy for short hair so I just gave up on the thought but now I'm trying to grow it back out to the length before. So I was wondering if there are any tips anyone recommends? I have split and damaged ends but I do spray my hair with heat protect when ever I style it but what else can I do to grow it out and take care of it?

Thank you Appi and Hailey! Hailey do you recommend any brands? Because when I get my hair cut the lady tells me it holds in moisture so I'm guessing it's not dry? For the mousse is that a brand or just the product? The shampoo and conditioner I use is the suave split end rescue. Thank you so much for your guys help, I'm trying to grow out my hair strong and healthy :)
