I am 19 and my hair hasn't grown past my shoulders since I was 12. Also one side is ALWAYS longer than the other. Does anyone have some good ideas for me? And I'm a poor college student so keep your suggestions cheep please😉

Just keep it healthy. Coconut oil and hair masks are good for keeping hair healthy.

Thank you! I've been using olive oil for some time do you know if that helps at all?

There is no miracle solution to make your hair grow. I'm assuming your hair hasn't grown because it's damaged. In that case, you would need to take off a few inches or so (whatever your hair stylist recommends) and let it grow out healthy. To keep your hair healthy, I recommend using hair masks and oils. My favorite hair mask is the Aussie 3 minute miracle, but I leave it on a lot longer than 3 minutes. For oils, I use extra virgin olive or coconut oil and leave it on for as long as I can before washing it out. Some other tips for keeping your hair healthy is to avoid heat and when using heat, use a heat protectant, use a t shirt instead of a towel to dry your hair off, and use the last few minutes in the shower on cold to rinse your conditioner :)

As Katelyn, said there is no absolute solution, though I had the same issue as you and I've gotten my hair to grow about 7 inches.
•Don't wash your hair every day.
•Use minimal to no heat.
If you are a regular straightener or curler, it will be hard. I had to completely break myself of it.
•DEFINITELY don't use heat if you've just put an oil in it, you'll fry your hair off
•I'm not very good at this, but try to get trims here and there.
•I braid my hair every night

Just to add, good healthy diet filled with good proteins specially for your hair and drinking lots a
of water is a good way to go. Starting from the inside out is a must since everything going in inside of our bodies affects what goes on outside. If everythings healthy on the outside then that means everything's healthy inside too!
