Hi I currently have XXL purple dye on my hair but it has gradually faded to a red/brown colour. I really want to dye my hair XXL blue. Has anyone done this? Will it be ok to dye over?

I would personally strip the colour or bleach over it as it may make the blue come out green.

It depends on how much it's faded. If it's still dark the blue will end up very dark. It will also make it more purple toned blue rather than green blue. It may come out pure purple if the red pigment is strong enough. (Red + blue = purple) if you fade it as much as possible, like using dish soap masks can get the color out quickly, then do the color it should be fine.
