Hey guys >~< ok so I'm only 17 so I would have quite a while but I'm pretty sure that once I'm a bit older, I'll want to get laser hair removal. I hate hate hate hate having hair and I have pcos and so my androgen levels are slightly raised so I get a lot of hair and it grows in thick and I hate it so much and I am so insecure about it but so I was wondering if any of you had laser hair removal? And what were your thoughts? Also where did you get it and how much did it cost? And would you recommend it? Thank you <3.

I am taking my laser session and on 23rd April it was my 3rd sitting for full face and 4th for chin.. I think its worth taking. I am not feeling a huge difference in the result. but randomly I can say 30% reduction in hair growing back. I have also pcos. its expensive. I am from Pakistan. so you can't compare the cost.

Hey I've had laser hair removal and I definitely recommend doing it. I live in New Zealand and I get it done at grace beauty therapy and mine cost $65 but it depends how much they have to do and they do this about 5-7 times with a 5 week break in between and for the last one they do electrolysis and thats $35 but it really depends how severe your beautician thinks it is :) and don't worry I'm 15 and began to shave those hairs and it became thicker, the lady said it wasnt that bad but I see such a big difference!

Wow Melody! That is so affordable! Here in the You.S it seems to cost way more. Especially where I'm located (Las Vegas) also not to mention they told me I was unable to get laser because my hairs are too light. She said that the lasers are targeted to dark hair

It depends what part of the body.
If you're doing your legs, arms etc.it's better to use laser hair removal and your hair has to be dark although some places have newer machines that can target lighter hairs I believe. Per session can become expensive and you need a few sessions for the hairs to sort of stop growing.
But personally, I have dark hairs and use the Remington I-light pro it's an at home type of thing and it actually works for me but I'd use it like every time I shaved since it certainly isn't as strong as the pro stuff but doing so I did notice hairs weren't growing back and there's a huge reduction in growth.
If you're talking about facial hair, I'd suggest electrolysis.
It's anywhere from $25-150 an hour I believe and it doesn't matter your hair color or anything since they use a micro needle and put it in the hair follicle.
Electrolysis is actually permanent hair removal whereas laser hair removal is hair reduction.
