Hi everyone, I have a question about how you guys get rid of blackheads? I have a whole lot on my nose and around my nose. I tried pore strips but they never work for me. After a shower I can often squeeze a few of them out but never more than 1 or 2. Do you guys have any ideas?

I like to use a blackhead extractor, that's really the only way I can get them out..

I use Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid. It works great for removing blackheads and shrinking your pores.

The Biore free your pores cleanser works well for me.

Are you sure they are actually blackheads? I thought I had blackheads on my nose, but after doing some reading up on it I'm quite sure they are actually sebaceous filaments. They are quite different and shouldn't be extracted like blackheads, as they are sort of meant to be there and would actually just come back after a couple of days. Sorry I haven't got the article link for reference, but I believe I read that somewhere on the paula's choice website.
aside from that, I agree with the girls on using a bha, best thing I have ever done for my skin and it will reduce the appearance of those things on your nose a lot.

Yes^^^^ I thought I had blackheads for like two years and I finally realized that they are not blackheads. But I would personally recommend seeing an esthetician or using a chemical exfoliant, instead of trying to do it yourself with an extractor.

I had these on my nose, forever, too! I found that when I washed my face with a brush - regardless of whether I was using a cream, soap, or scrub cleanser - I got a much deeper clean and it removed the blackheads.
