I agree coconut oil is good! I also use extra virgin olive oil! I apply the mask in layers ( pull half the hair up apply mask and pull other half down and apply rest) after that depending on how damaged the hair is I leave it on anywhere from 15-2 hours. The longer the better. Once your done letting it soak you wash it out. Shampoo and conditioner I let my conditioner sit in my hair for about 5 minutes. Then I add in a leave in conditioner with argon oil. Coconut oil can range from 5-20 dollars you want virgin coconut oil. I hope this helped ❤️

Destinee once they ends have split like that there's nothing to do but cut them of. No amount of masks and diy stuff can reverse damage. Once you cut it you can start taking good care of your hair about doesn't happen again: Use heat protection, use heat less, do a good hair mask once in awhile, use products that is suited for your hair type and so on.

Well if you don't want to go buy stuff you better hope that you have a magic wand in your bathroom cabinets. If you have any hair products with tea tree or argon oil, thats great for your hair.

Flat irons are frying your hair. I recommend stopping that all together, if you use a heat protecter and just blow dry it at night you will see a huge change! flat irons are way too hot and damaging for hair

I'd agree to disagree with Livia, just make sure that you have a flat iron that has a temperature control on it. I personally flat iron my hair at around 370 degrees fahrenheit and it works fine without frying my hair. My hair is actually extremely healthy, and has grown about 4 inches since last I cut it in November, even with heat styling. I also bleached and dyed it every few months for about seven years, as well as heat styling often (around once or twice a week) and when I cut it all off last March my stylist asked if I was sure I wanted to cut it all because it was so healthy, so I'd be happy to share my hair tips with you!

I use heat on my hair, I love using one whole avocado and a splash of milk. Pop both ingredients into a blender and before you shower put this on your hair between 30min to 1 hour. This mask honestly keeps your hair looking and feeling healthy for like 3-4weeks. Give it a go!

Bumble and bumble has a great blow dry spray for your hair to protect it. I also use matrix biolage hydra source conditioner and sometimes hempz couture moisturizing conditioner. My hair was so damaged and didn't grow past a certain length for 5 years until I started using these products and taking my vitamins. Hope this helps!

I agree with Sabrina the only way to get rid of the damage is to cut it off - no amount of product can bring back dead ends - once they die you can't do anything about it but cut it - masks are more preventative but they can't repair damage - no matter what they advertise its just not possible to glue back ends that have split with any product - and also agree with heat protectant before using heat and a serum after heat - but if you can't buy products then just use less heat - instead embrace your natural hair and use products to make it look good to you - the less heat you use the more healthy your hair will be - but if you must use heat then you need products to keep it healthy.

Have a try the Emulsion Repair Shampoo and then use the hair conditioner, olive oil is ok too.

I agree that getting a haircut is the only solution. Your hair will feel and look much healthier, remember that split ends get worse if you don't get a trim, so in the long run you'll have to cut more inches.

Sorry I just saw your message back, but do you mean how much are you suppose to use? Because I normally just use like a small dab of it, and always shampoo after to get out the oil. :) but a haircut will be your best bet

Was your hair like this just after you got your haircut?

I put extra virgin olive oil on my roots first for a couple minutes & then put it all through out your hair & leave it in there for 2 hours! It will help it grow too.

Unfortunately the only remedy for split ends is to cut them. If you ended up cutting it more, start using heat protection, and do a hair treatment every week.

Even if you just cut it doesn't mean all the damage is gone - if your hair was really bad - a cut can only do so much - and same with products - you really just need to take care of your hair on a regular basis - get it cut every 3-6 months - but since it looks like yours is extremely damaged I would suggest you get it cut again next month - just an inch off the length and keep doing that every month until all the damage is gone - and between cuts just keep using products to keep it healthy and reduce heat usage as much as possible - I had very damaged hair from dying it blonde before and I had to cut it all off over the course of a year before it was healthy again - doing damage is easy but waiting for healthy hair to come back takes time and effort - it's not going to happen overnight - you can also try a keratin treatment to try and repair your hair but be careful because there some dangers to doing that too - just do your research on the salon before you go - and know that it can be an expensive treatment but it works well for certain hair types.
