Hii! I want a contouring powder that really works. I heard about Master Sculpt from Maybelline, but I don't know if it is useful.. Do you know about it? Or you recommend me another product?
Thank youu!!

For something like contouring, which can look really bad really easily, I wouldn't recommend buying a product from the drugstore. The Lorac pro contour palette is really good and so is the Anastasia Beverly Hills one and the KVD palette that Shengmin suggested. If you're looking for just a very basic palette like the Maybelline one, check out the Tarte Park Avenue Princess palette. It has a bronzer, blush and highlight that all flatter many skin tones. I believe it's around $30 too. My reason for buying high end makeup is that the ingredients tend to be better, they're more pigmented meaning you're not going to need as much product to get the effect you're looking for, and there is a bigger selection of cruelty free products at Ulta or Sephora rather than Walmart. Don't get me wrong, you can get some pretty great stuff at the drugstore, but I would stick to drugstore eyeliners and lipsticks for the most part. If you absolutely cannot bring yourself to drop $30-$50 on one product, buy something from Nyx! They make some of the best drugstore makeup there is! And they're cruelty free :)

Personally I've heard that the master sculpt can look very chalky, I haven't heard very good things about the product.

I would go with l'oreal infallible pro-contour if you want a drugstore brand in light. Now there is also one from the Sephora collection's as well for $15 called Tranquil. I personally have a Lux sculpt powder by Kevyn Aucoin and I love it! But here's the deal I've been searching because of interest for contour sculpt shades at a lower cost to help any who may not be able to afford a Lux brand and the closest I've seen are City Color contour Effects 2 $ 6, L'Oréal infallible pro-contour shade light $12 and sephora collection shade tranquil $15. The thing is so many are now catching on with the true shade that your options are wider so just explore just because other high end brand's claim to be a sculpt shade doesn't mean it is compared to Kevyn Aucoin original sculpt shade. Not all high end has caught on to the actual shade yet either some are very questionable :)
