Can anyone suggest a great moisturiser for my curly hair? It so much more coarse and dry since having my kids and I'm struggling to find something to bring it back to life.

I suggest using a mask. I love the organx ones and I also like to apply olive oil on the tips of my hair. coconut oil is good too but not as much for my curls. I also really like organx coconut curls conditionner or herbal essences berry conditionner. I suggest to trim your hair if you have split end or dryness... it really makes it look healthier

And mousse or gel will dry it out even more so try to use leavein conditionners or cremes to style! organx has amazing products for styling and a few drops oil can always be used too.

Shea Moisture makes some wonderful masques, the 10 in 1 is my personal favorite but you really can't go wrong. Garnier's conditioning gel cream is the only styling product I will use from the drugstore since I found it, it is a truly underrated product. I can skip the leave-in conditioner when I use this because it's so moisturizing, it holds my curls SO well, and doesn't leave my hair crunchy. I love it. If you want high end, I suggest going through the DevaCurl line. I personally use the coconut super cream and light conditioning gel, but they have products specific to curl type so something else may work better for you. I'm 2C/3A btw.

I'd suggest a curl cream topped with a styling oil. The brands I like to use are Miss Jessies, Shea Moisture, & Ogx.
Also a mask once a week will do wonders for your hair. I like to use coconut oil.

Curly girls have different hair! I recommend using products made - specifically - for curly hair. I use Deva Curl products and they have changed my life! First of all, curly hair is dryer than other hair. It needs to be pampered differently. Deva Curl No Poo is a shampoo with absolutely no Sulphates - it does not lather at all. Any shampoo that lathers has Sulphates...I don't care what the label says. Sulphates are drying, period. Using No Poo, you feel like you're washing with conditioner because it immediately makes your hair so soft. It takes a bit to get used to washing without suds, but you do get used to it. I use the One Conditioner afterwards. It is very light. They have different shampoos and conditioners for different textures curls. Same goes for their styling products. They are fabulous, but light, so they can easily be removed with the gentle shampoo. I would not recommend using different-brand styling products, as the shampoo may not be able to remove them well enough. You probably already know that you never put a comb or brush through curly hair...? I always air-dry, but you can diffuse. This will definitely bring your gorgeous curls back to life! I also recommend a book called "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. You can get it on Amazon.

I haven't found a store bought mask that works as well as putting food on my head. I like Avacado with an egg or a little evoo. whatever you do don't use bananas, They will never wash out. get the baby food bananas if you're really tempted by the biotin in them. I'll usually use argan oil under a leave in to seal in moisture. I like briogeos curl defining leave in. I find Shea moisture masks are better for leave ins than masks for my hair but that probably won't be true for finer hair. (I have medium 3a/3b hair) for in shower conditioning I stopped using shampoo and use the briogeo cowash. I'm still searching for a good conditioner/cowash that's cheaper. I've tried the organx coconut one and I really like it for moisture but it doesn't function well as a clarifying conditioner (cowash).

I also stopped using the organic because it has silicone and sulfates, both of which are bad for curls. forgot about that until I googled it just now for a picture.
