Hi girls, I'm looking for foundations with a yellow base.. I have a very yellow undertone and I always struggle to find a foundation that matches... I always end up looking pink and icky! What are some foundations with a yellow base? Also, how can I better find them on my own? How can I tell which ones are yellow? Thank you!!

A good drug store foundation is Loreal Infallible Matte. Very good for yellow undertones skin. I find MAC is good as well, and EX1 is great too.

I agree with MUFE they have a great range that works well with my sensitive acne prone skin - I also find it difficult to get a perfect match with my olive skin tone - but I also like the KVD line as well - mainly because I like a fuller coverage foundation

1. warm yellow undertone(has some pink in it aka like a peach or honey color.)
2. A true yellow under tone.
3. A cool yellow undertone ( for people with yellow/green toned skin, a true olive)
A few good drugstore brands would be the L'orèal True Match, Milani, Iman (for medium to deep skin tones) and some of the Maybelline Fit me matte and poreless shades.
For more higher end there's Nars, MAC and Makeup Forever and cover fx.
If you find that when you wear a yellow toned foundation it may pull a tad pink or the yellow in it makes you look washed out you may have a cool yellow/olive color.
If you find that when you wear a yellow toned foundation and it makes you look ashy/washed out then you may actually have a warm yellow/honey color.
With the drugstore foundations you'll find yellow and warm yellow toned foundations.
With the higher end foundations they'll have a few different yellow toned foundations.
For example, if you look at the NARS shade Stromboli compared to Barcelona.
Stromboli is a bit olive whereas Barcelona looks a tad more honey colored.
I know the new ultra HD foundation has added newer shades.
The shade I use 123=Y365 (I believe) is more olive.
The old 127(Y335?) shade is yellow and then they added a new shade Y345 which has a more peach/honey color.
Then if you look at the Studio Fix Fluid foundation NC30&NC40 are a tad more olive compared to NC25 NC35 which are more yellow/golden.
And then when you jump to NC42 it's quite honey colored.
MAC (in the studio fix powder)
Has three yellow toned ranges.
There's the
1. NC (yellow with a tiny amount of beige)
2. C# (yellow with small amount of pink)
3. C## (yellow with green tones)
The NC shades are quite yellow but some shades have slightly different tones whereas the C range is more consistent.
I have both C4 and C35
C4 looks quite honey colored whereas C35 has quite a clear green tone. And they are around the same depth C4 probably a tad light but the green tones in C35 could be making it appear darker. I don't have the NC35 powder to compare to but it is a bit more of a true yellow.
