I am German and have a good amount of peach fuzz going on. I've seen you tubers talk about shaving your face but I'm skeptical. Are there any alternatives to getting smoother makeup finish without doing hair removal?

Wax, eventually the hair will grow thinner and much easier to remove :)

I use some special little razor to do my upper lip, I found waxing harsh on my sensitive skin, and shaving with a little blade like that is super quick 👍🏻 but that's all I could say about it, if you don't want to remove hair just exfoliate on a regular basis to get a smooth finish

I use an eyebrow razor to do my upper lip and it's super quick and easy (:

I'd go with wax, it pulls the entire hair out, shaving can cause ingrown hairs.

I gave into that YouTube trend and I actually love the results. I use these little razors by Noxema.

You could always try threading or bleaching the hairs.

I'm a cosmetologist and I get this question a lot. Both shaving and waxing can cause ingrown hairs and it's not proven to grow back thicker or thinner either way. I shave mine but sometimes it does come back itchy, so just make sure you're not having any weird reactions to that. Also make sure you have good products because your skin will be more sensitive after that and try to do it at night so you won't be putting any makeup on it for a few hours. It does come down to personal preference, obviously waxing will stay smoother for longer, but shaving is very convenient.

Does it just last the day when you do the shaving? I wax and have to go every two weeks for my upper lip and it's exhausting

I hate my facial hair, I used hard wax for a couple of years and I always got pimples after. I started using an epilator, it hurt the first couple of times, it leaves my face soft, and hair free. It is a fast process and it last the same time as wax. Sometimes I use the eyebrow razor for my upper lip, but I prefer the epilator.

I've been doing it for years since I was a teen and now 39 never had a issue. Since when did this become a YT thing? lol.

Oh my gosh Alma you haven't seen this?! Beauty gurus all jumping on this face shaving bandwagon. Tbh I always thought it would be a huge mistake even though I always wanted to do it bc honestly I have an excessive amount of baby hairs and was afraid the stubble would look horrible and it would become a daily commitment that I would regret. I am so happy with the results but had I never seen those videos on yt I would have been too scared LOL:)

Lots of women get Dermaplaning done prior to a facial. It not only removes facial hair, but leaves skin glowing and helps products absorb for maximum benefit. It's a common and highly effective beauty treatment that is painless and performed by an Aesthetician.

I am a shaver too. I use a little personal shaver from Phillips, was about 10 and I couldn't live without it. I've been doing it for years and even though I have naturally very dark hair the peach fuzz that grows back is still blond as can be.

I wouldn't shave because you might get some stubble probably wax as in other ppl have said but I don't know for sure of the stubble thing I just remember someone else telling that to another person on Beautylish.
