Going into Sephora tomorrow.. I'm on the hunt for a long lasting nude lipstick.. Liquid or stick, it doesn't matter. I just want something smudge proof that I don't have to continually reapply. I own some KVD, and she's doesn't have a nude I'm looking for. I've swatched the Stila's and again, haven't found a nude to suit me. Someone suggested the Nars Audacious line.. Any other suggestions..? May look into MAC if I can't find anything at Sephora.. :/ also, if you have a suggestion with an "in real life pic / color swatch", that'd be great. Thanks!

Well there are plenty of collections at sephora so you might find something there. I don't have any specific suggestions, I have tons of lipsticks but hardly use them. however I do think you will be able to find a nice nude at mac. they have so many shades to choose from and I personally do like the quality of their lipsticks.

I love the Nars Audacious lipsticks! Their lightest nude color is Raquel.

These lipsticks have a beautiful, satin/natural finish that is very lightweight on the lips. They don't emphasize lines or dryness, and the pigmentation is amazing. I feel no real need to reapply these throughout the day, as they stay put beautifully (and surprisingly well for something that's so non-drying). When they do begin to fade (5-6 hours?? more?? I honestly don't keep track) they fade evenly and don't leave your lips crusty or patchy. Also, they layer very well so reapplying is a breeze if necessary. I would absolutely recommend them.

I'll attach a picture of me in Raquel. It's a pinky peachy beige lip. Also, for reference, I'm very very pale (a tad lighter than MAC NW10 for reference) so this may look more nude on you than it does me. I would advise swatching it in stores if you can, and if it's too light they have a huge color selection so hopefully you can find something to suit you :)

Also, if these don't tickle your fancy, Bite Beauty has a new line of lipsticks called Amuse Bouche that are beautiful. I haven't played with them as much since they're new, but they have a wide variety of nude colors. The texture/finish reminds me of somewhere in between a MAC satin finish lipstick and the Nars Audacious ones. The finish is definitely more matte than the Nars, maybe even more matte than the MAC satins, but the texture is much lighter than MAC lipsticks. It's not quite as comfortable as the Nars though, it is a bit more matte feeling, if that makes sense.

Hope this helps!

Since you already have the kvd ones and can't find a color your looking for I would try Mac, I've noticed the stila ones are a bit pricey and I'm not a fan of the color range and the anastasia ones are not true to color for me. Mac regular Mattes are amazing and there nude selection is pretty hefty, I'd check out persistence, velvet teddy, and they have quite a few others. The other matte nudes I have from mac are all L.E. I'm very picky when it comes to nudes and I've found the best selection with Mac (:

There's the ultra matte and ultra satin lips from colourpop. I'm sure they would have something for you.
