So I am graduating this year, and I need a dress for my party. It will be a sort of country chic theme, and I will be wearing my cowgirl boots. But I can't just go to a store and buy a dress, so I will be having one custom made.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what style or color I should go with? I am 5' 8 (172 cm) with and athletic build. I will be having the dress made to my knees, maybe slightly above, so I am looking for styles that would look good slightly longer. I really have no clue what I should do, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. And as for color I again have no clue what suits me. I am semi pale with blonde hair and green eyes if that helps any!!
I have tried browsing pinterest, but I just have no clue what styles and shapes would be flattering. And honestly the dress could be simple or fancy, I am not super picky!

I would go with a cream lacey dress since you said you're pale a white dress might wash you out.

If you're wearing cowgirl boots I would go with a dress that's above the knee rather than below the knee.

Thank you so much jah-jah! A cream dress sounds great! And personally I am not comfortable in a dress that's above the knee, so I would have the dress made to my knees, but not longer. I see the problem with boots and a longer dress

Since you're getting it custom made you can always get it longer than in the picture.

Check out Fillly Flair, Spool 72, Cavenders, or Country Outfitters. All of which are where you can order online.

I think a sea glass color would look great with a fit-and-flare cut :) adds curves and extremely flattering
