I want to buy eyeshadow singles to make my own custom palette. I've heard good things about Makeup Geek and ABH singles, but am open to other brands. Also any shade suggestions or reviews would be so helpful. I live in the UK too so they need to be available here. Thanks :)

Buxom is good as well. They don't come in nice round pans to throw in a z palette, but you get 6 colors of your choice and a palette with a brush all for $40. I'm not sure on the quality of the brush, but hey free brush. The shadows are actually quite nice. They remind me of Urban decay in their consistency. They're said to have a built in primer which is cool, though I'd always use a primer anyway.

I swatched a few yesterday. The picture honestly doesn't do justice. Buxom is a nice value, but the other brands that have been suggested are great too. Especially ABH and makeup geek

I had this dilemma recently! MUG and ABH definitely have some good shadows because I did my research and found ones that I loved from both brands that I knew had high reviews and top ratings. I finally decided to just create a custom palette that I filled with some of both and I am in love with them! Here are swatches of just a few of the MUG ones if that helps (LtoR: Drama Queen, Sensuous, Mesmerized, Prom Night). Definitely bundle if you go with ABH to save money. I've also heard great things about Inglot. And MAC is now $6/pan instead of $10 so even they are comparable price wise with MUG. But I seriously love all of the ABH/MUG ones I bought. Out of the 28 single shadows I just bought, there wasn't one that wasn't great.
