So I've been seeing these brushes being used a lot in the beauty community, has anyone bought these? Or tried them? They apparently allow liquid foundation to really sink into your skin and they give a flawless finish. So has anyone tried these? And if you have what brand did you buy them from?

I personally have never used them, but I've heard amazing reviews on them and they are supposed to have a "flawless" affect for foundation and what not as you said.

They are my EVERYTHING recently!! they really do allow the foundation to become one with the skin, instead of two layers of cake. the original brand is Artis I believe, and that's where I got mine. but there are tons of the same type all over the Internet.

Are there any brand recommendations?

I got one by By Terry. Using that made my application of foundation looks smooth ( compare with fingers, beautyblender, the flat foundation brush and even color me). Will try to get the Artis ones later as my By Terry one is small that takes me long time for application.

Jacqueline H. As soft as these brushes appear to be, I was wondering if they would cause micro-exfoliation. I have dry skin, so I usually use a Beauty Blender or the Morphe E44 which is like a brush/sponge hybrid. The size, shape , density and softness of this brush makes it possible to pounce the foundation on the skin like a sponge with very minimal buffing as not to cause any micro exfoliation.

Jacqueline H. Thank you for your response. I don't even know why I'm asking as I am very happy with the BB & the E44. But, as you know, we're always looking out for the next best thing.
