When I do light makeup I contour with the NYX Wonder Stick, it's a cream contour stick on one side and a cream highlight stick on the other side. I put a stripe of the contour shade under my cheekbones and blend upwards with the Real Techniques Contour Brush. It blends super easily, so easily that sometime I just blend all the product away but you can easily put another stripe and blend without it looking patchy or crazy. Also put a little bit of highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones to really make them pop. I love the NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic, it's subtle but gives enough glow to make the cheekbones stand out (:

A good way to accentuate cheekbones is to highlight. I'd get a concealer a shade or two lighter and use it on the areas you want to accentuate. You could even add a shimmery highlight on the sides of the cheekbones to accentuate it some more as well
