I have heard a lot about using baking soda as a way of whitening your teeth but I wasn't sure if that would damage teeth? All I would like to know is if it damages teeth and any opinions?x

Yes it damages teeth- do not do it!! The crest 3D white strips are affordable and at almost every grocery store.

I have heard that it damages your teeth. Personally, I wouldn't do it because to me it sounds like something that would be a risk! Get them done professionally or buy teeth whitening kits with good reviews; do not use baking soda! Have fun with the process and I hope you find something that works,I am also looking at getting my teeth whitened later on this year/when my braces are removed. I will be getting them done professionally because I figure it will be the least dangerous and most accurate process. 💕

Don't quote me on this but ai believe baking soda is considered damaging because of its abrasiveness when brushed onto the teeth, and its grittiness will harm the enamel. I believe it is fine to use if you use it carefully (donr brush it on) and just as a paste with water or 3% hydrogen peroxide.

But besides that, oil pulling and brushing your teeth with turmeric powder helps naturally whiten your teeth.
