I am looking for a really good coverage foundation, but it needs to be not harsh to acne prone skin and not too expensive??
Please comment down your favs (and their prices) thanks :D

Loreal True Match. Its definetly buildable as well if you only need more coverage in certain areas.

Too Faced Born this Way is my favorite! It's a little pricey ( about $40 I think) but it's sooo worth it. Medium to full coverage. Doesn't cake up. Natural finish. I love it

L'Oreal true match, maybelline fit me, or TooFaced born this way! I thinks born this way has the best coverage but the other two will do the job nicely as well!

True Match actually has a semi matte finish but you can definetly play with it and make it dewey or matte. Its very versatile.

I have tried many drugstore foundations so I'll give you a little background information on some that I've tried and I'll rank it from favorite to least favorite!

1.) Revlon Colorstay : this foundation has a great variety of colors and is medium-full coverage. it is buildable and easy to blend with a damp beauty blender. the formula is on the natural - semi matte side, but I use the kind for combination skin. they do have a dry skin formulated foundation, but I can't tell you much about that one unless it's very similar. the foundation now comes with a pump and it hasn't ever given me acne. this foundation lasts me all day and is only about $10

2.) Loreal True Match : this foundation has medium-full coverage and also has a nice variety of shades! it's very very bendable and has a natural finish on my skin. it doesn't come with a pump which does annoy me because I never get the right amount of product or I have to stick my hands in there which is really bad. I also find that the staying power of this foundation isn't quite as good as revlon, but it is pretty good and should last about the same time as a school day. this foundation hasn't caused me to break out and it's about $8-10.

3.) Loreal Anti-Redness BB Cream : yes, this is a bb cream, but it has better coverage than some foundations I have tried. if you are pale, this "foundation" will not work for you. I can't use it in the winter because it's one shade and it's quite dark, but it looks great in the summer when I have a tan! it's a very natural finish and easy to blend in with your fingers. it's in a tube bottle so it's a little better than the loreal packaging. it does tend to get a little oily throughout the day, but nothing you can't fix and for the price, you really can't beat it! it's only $7-$8! it also doesn't cause me to break out or irritate my skin.

4.) Loreal True Match Lumi : I did not like this foundation, but it's probably just the formula. if you have dry skin, you will probably love it! it has a great variety of shades just like the Loreal and blends easily into the skin. the packaging is beautiful and has a pump. my only complaint is honestly the formula. my skin would get really oily throughout the day and it just wasn't flattering for my skin personally. if you have dry skin and want a dewy finish, you may want to give this foundation a shot! I think I got it for $11-12

5.) Maybelline Dream Smooth Foundation : this foundation does not have a very good variety of shades and I don't really like the packaging. it comes with a sponge, but the sponge gets really nasty after a while and then you're basically putting dirt and oils from your face back into your foundation. It did cause some breakouts, but the foundation does blend easily into the skin. it is light-medium coverage. I think this foundation only costs about $7.

6.) Maybelline Fit Me : I absolutely hate this foundation, everything about it. I wanted to love it because my mom used it and loved it and there was a lot of love for this product on YouTube at one point, but every time I used it, it would cake up on my skin or not blend properly. it was also very dry and I didn't like that. the foundation has a decent variety of shades, but not even the packaging was great. it's a lot like the Loreal packaging in the same sense that it's just a bottle and you have to get your fingers in there sometimes which is unsanitary. I will personally never try this foundation again because it's everything I wouldn't want in a foundation.

I have tried other foundations from the drugstore, but I didn't like them that much either so it would probably be a waste of time to rant about them lol. if you have a certain one in mind, I can try to tell you about it if I've tried it, which I most likely have ;)
