What do you use to apply your foundation? Beauty blender, foundation brush, fingers, buffing brush, sponge, stippling brush, magic, something else?
Personally, I use disposible sponges. I've had horrible results with brushes.

It depends on what I am trying to achieve. For fuller, more flawless coverage I use a dense buffing brush or a stippling brush. If I want lighter, more natural coverage I use a large damp contoured sponge to press in my foundation.

The Real Techniques Buffing brush, or the sedona lace angled synthetic brush. Both give you amazing finishes and they are both under 10$
