I want to be able to expirement more with my hair, and it has thinned out after years of over use of styling tools. Does any one know of like anything to use to make it thicker?

There's a product at Sally's.. I can't remember what it's called.. But it has Nioxin.. And it's a spray you spray in your hair..

I hate to "break" it to you, but your hair thinned out because you've damaged it (likely by experimenting). There is no miracle product that is suddenly going to put more hair on top of your head. Step away from the heating tools and grow it back out.

Brentley I've been noticing the same problem and I feel your pain ugh but my bestie used nioxin as someone suggested for an entire year and her hair went through a drastic change, alll of a sudden it grew faster, got thicker and healthier all together, the con : she noticed she was getting hairier all over not just her scalp so just beware ; she religiously took the nioxin pills on the daily and used other products they have.

I would suggest using nioxin it comes in 3 parts a shampoo a conditioner and a leave in treatment spray or foam. there are 6 nioxin sets all for different hair types 1 3 & 5 are for normal to fine hair and 2 4 & 6 are for noticeably thinning then whether your hair is fine or corse and coloured or natural this will help you know what one is right for you! the best way to do this is going on to the nioxin website and seeing the salon nearest to you which sells it and asking a stylist to recommend which is best for you. Nioxin helps your hair grow faster and thicker and treats damaged hair too :-) hope this helps.

Thank you guys for all of the tips, and yes Stephanie, I agree, I have gone two months wirhout heating it (unless a blow dryer counts) and it has thickened up, I found curling the ends of my ponytail is better than curling all the way up when down :P and for the rest of you, I will HAVE to try out nioxin!! :) thanks you guys

Make sure you are taking a good multivitamin, biotin, and fish oil. I lost hair due to stress when I was misdiagnosed with breast cancer and this combo has made my naturally fine/thin hair grow back even prettier than before:)

Thank you to all of you(: and Tracie, I am glad your hair grew back, and I could only imagine how much stress and worry you went through in the span of the misdiagnosis, but I am so glad that you do not have it!! I have had family members who had it and went through the chemo/radiation/etc. it's not fun!
