Someone please explain BB cream! I use it every day and love it but I just dont get how its supposed to be different than foundation (aside from the spf protection).

Try it! Its amazing stuff :) I just dont know why... Like is it classified as a foundation? Or is it just its own thing?

Um, well...American BB creams really aren't that different from tinted moisturizers. The point of Asian BB creams is to basically roll primer, moisturizer, foundation, sun protection and anti-aging benefits into one package.
The main difference here is that most BB creams I've taken a look at do contain (aside from spf) a silicone or multiple silicones, which is the main reason why primers buff out the appearance of pores and fine lines. Foundations contain silicones too, often enough, but tend to leave out moisturizing or sun protecting qualities and generally offer fuller coverage than BB creams.
Think of it as souped-up tinted moisturizer.

Agree with Stephanie! Other differences: 1. bb cream shade is very forgiving and adjusting. 2. Skincare benefits! I find western ones states the benefit but never back it up, Asian ones states it and support it with ingredients!
