My husband pops mine they get red and they do go away. Depending on how you do it you can cause yourself to get more pimples.

Try using two q tips and gently apply pressure. The yucky pus stuff should come out but stop when you see blood. Only pop once it has a white head too or it will just cause more irritation to your skin if you pick at it before then.

It's okay if you done it in a Sterile way.. Use a syringe needle to make a hole first, then pinch it using a clean q tip or a sterile comedo extractor.. Then apply antibiotic cream to prevent it from infection

I would try Paula's choice skin care line and personally would never poke my face with anything. Paula's choice has reps that will talk to you about your skin type and help you get the products that fit.

I use a needle to pop mine. A single use hypodermic needle (25g). Dermatologists do the same thing. And when I was working and had to do an extraction I felt needed it I would.
As long as you don't tear the skin it's ok.

They say its bad, but I think it's better than having a pimple on your face. Just make sure you don't get too much oil from your hands on your face when you do

You really shouldnt but if you have to use a needle. It may sound bad but you can't feel it

The reason why they say it is bad is due to doing it improperly. Everytime a pimple forms is in one of your hair follicles. The reason for that is because a sebaceous gland is also attached to that follicle. When improperly "pop" a pimple you break the follicular wall between the follicles so any bateria that was there travels to the next follicle and forms a new pimple. That's why when you pop a pimple most people will get a new pimple in the same spot or next to it.
