I want to get extensions sewn into my hair because it's really short and I want my long hair back. I don't know anything about it though. is it bad for my hair? will it make it fall out?

Try micro link extensions ! Not only is there no pain no glue and no Sewing but it actually helps your hair grow its around 200$ and last for about 6-8 weeks !!

Get keratin fusion extensions. They help your hair grow, your head itches for a couple days after you get them put in, but that's just because your roots need to get used to it. After a couple days/washes they'll feel very natural & youll forget its not your real hair!!!! lmfao! They last 4-6 months and you can cut, curl, crimp & straighten them. Basically do anything you do with your hair now, or more so since your hair will be long!

Also, sewn in hair can cause fungus to grow, because the hair gets sewn into braids, and braids never FULLY dry.

The fusion extension cost anywhere from 650 and up depending on salons and hair they use! I do them for 650 plus hair so around 850. Totally worth it! Last up to five months. Hope this helps answer your question!!

You can find people in your area to do them cheaper. You live anywhere around the bay or the valley? The girl I go to does them for 100 flat, just has to be cash. & Theyve all lasted 5 months for me, & i bleach, dye & use heat every day.

I dont bleach & dye everyday, lol. btw. Also, the girl I go to gets her extensions wholesale, except theyre black. But 20 inch remy hair for $105 is amazing.

Definitely go for micro-loop/micro-link extensions. I had them for years and they did not damage my hair at all. I did do the fusion extensions before and it was a total disaster. I took really good care of them too, but the removal process was a nightmare. My hair was SO thin afterward, I was so sad!

@style s wow that's absolutely terrible :/ I can relate to you right now because I currently used too Much dye on my hair and the amount falling out of my head is ridiculous. Idk what to do :/

Honestly I've had sewn in extensions and they just ripped my hair apart it hasn't grown since then it just really pulled my hair out :( but clip ins are what I use now and they're much less harmful and cheaper considering how long they last if you take care of them. I get some from Sally's beauty supply for about 100 and they've last about 6 months and are still in fantastic shape because I rarely wash them and heat only about every three days!
