there good to remove the dead skin cells that build up on the face, though a good facial scrub will do but the peel generally removes a good percentage. .... & idk any good drugstore brand sorry hun

Hi Lolita, I mix honey and sugar and use it as a scrub. It works fantastic for me, but be carefull if you have a sensitive skin it is not gentle. Cheers

I don't know of a drug store brand, but I just purchased one from Bath And Body Works, their True Blue Spa collection. It's great.

Generally speaking it: 1. Removes the top layer dead skin cells, 2. Boost skin renewal process, if you have too much dead skin and you pile product (skincare, makeup) on it, it will not get absorbed but clogged. Wish it helps.
