need HELP with hair growth!!!!

People are giving me different tips and I don't know what to believe!!! I'm trying to grow out my hair. Someone told me to put it in a bun a lot and other people are saying not to!! What do I do?!!?

Don't put it in a bun!You'll end up with split ends instead try putting your hair in a braid . I been using coconut oil in my hair for a month and a half now and I have noticed a big difference so give that a try
