I really want to be able to do a sock bun but I just can't get it right. I can't get all of my hair covering it or neat like you always see. Any suggestions??

Try to comb your hair, add some light hairspray, or lightly damp. Maybe that helps:)

if you go to a drug store or target, they sell hair donuts for $3 which make the process much easier

The sock bun can happen two ways. one way is to put your hair in a pony tail and put the sock through the hair, and fold over the sick and hair repetitively, and if there are mess ups, just use bobby pins and more binders. another way is to do the pony tail and put the sock through the hair, and just wrap the hair around the sock, with lots of binders. This hair styles works better with wet hair, I've noticed.
